Velourias release new single "Taxidermist"

VELOURIAS are a powerful Dublin trio comprised of Phil (Guitar and Vocals), Rob (Bass and Vocals), and Nick (Drums).

Fusing alternative rock, post-punk, indie, and hardcore, what results is a striking, robust sound and an unforgettable energy inside and out of the studio. New single, "Taxidermist," is a captivating blend of the band's core musical influences, reminiscent of Joy Division's "Shadow Play" and the "Holy Bible" era of Manic Street Preachers. Exuding a dark and foreboding atmosphere, the single is an intense one - encompassing the band's  heavy, thundering alternative sound in all its glory.

Recorded and mixed by Velourias and James Kenosha, and completed with a brooding music video directed by Miles Davis Murphy, "Taxidermist" is an immersive single from the critically acclaimed trio, who have earned extensive priase from NIALLER 9, HOTPRESS  and THE GOO, alongside airplay on RTÉ 2FM, RADIO NOVA, TODAY FM, and DUBLIN CITY FM.

Currently working on an upcoming album scheduled for release next year, Velourias have a huge 2025 in store, with "Taxidermist" solidifying their place as an unmissable band in the Irish alternative rock scene.
